The Neave Prize is awarded to a work of non-fiction which the Judging Panel considers to have made the most significant, original, relevant and practically valuable contribution to the understanding of terrorism. The panel of judges consists of Trustees of the Airey Neave Trust supported by independent experts in the field of terrorism.

The Neave Prize is generously sponsored by Pool Reinsurance Ltd – the United Kingdom Government backed terrorism reinsurance scheme. Unfortunately Terrorist Diversion was not successful in being short listed, however we thank the Airey Neave Trust for nominating us to the Long List. Congratulations to those authors who were short listed!

About

Terrorist Diversion: A Guide to Prevention and Detection for NGOs is an accessible, pragmatic guide for international NGOs of all shapes and sizes to help balance pressing security and financial crime risks against the demands of internal stakeholders, donors, banks, and regulators. Clearly explaining the nature of the challenge, and setting out a programme to meet it, it explores how it is possible for INGOs to manage these risks more effectively through their missions – not in spite of them.
